    Trust and integrity are key principles of a modern corporate culture. A company that wants to succeed and grow sustainably depends on the trust of its wider community, customers, suppliers and employees, both locally and globally. We have committed ourselves to these principles in our Code of Conduct, which sets out how our company principles are implemented and applied in day-to-day business.

    Our globally applicable rules of conduct protect our employees, our company, as well as our customers and partners. Preventive and control measures, including the four-eyes principle and regular audits, support our values-based compliance system. In addition, all employees are required to complete a compliance training programme.

    Our compliance system is complemented by a whistleblowing system. Employees can report non-compliant behaviour at any time. This helps us ensure that the principles and rules of our company are followed by all employees at all times. Our whistleblowing system enables all employees to report ethical misconduct and possible violations, such as fraud, corruption, undue influence, harassment, discrimination or environmental damage. Reports are treated in strict confidence unless we are legally required to provide information to an authority. In addition, employees who submit reports will not face sanctions from the employer.

    Responsible and lawful behaviour is also important to us beyond our own company, which is why we have introduced a Supplier Code of Conduct. Compliance with legal requirements, transparency and fair competition are essential elements of our day-to-day operations. Therefore, we set high standards for ourselves and our suppliers, particularly in relation to fair competition, anti-corruption, data protection, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, the avoidance of conflicts of interest and the protection of assets and information.

    In a rapidly changing environment, we regularly review our compliance system so that we can adapt our rules and processes to new legal and technical developments where necessary.

    Organisational, management and control model in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 231/2001

    AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics S.r.l., which has long been committed to the principles of fairness, transparency and legality, has adopted an organisational, management and control model in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 231/2001. The model is continuously developed and identifies compliance with the law as a guiding principle of business ethics.

    It is of primary importance to our company that everyone who works for us, regardless of their role, carries out their activities in accordance with the principles and values set out in Model 231. The model is an essential tool for guiding, promoting and disseminating proper and honest conduct and helps safeguard the effective operation, reliability and reputation of AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics S.r.l.

    The company has also appointed a supervisory body (SB), which is responsible for monitoring the functioning of and compliance with Model 231 within the company. The supervisory body consists of an external expert, Mr Luca Pandini, who serves as chair, and one internal member, Ms Beatrice Fraddosio.
