AL-KO chassis technician
for caravans and commercial trailers
Become the competent contact for all issues or questions relating to the chassis. Familiarise yourself even more with the chassis technology and understand how it functions in detail. You will gain insights into the latest products as well as tips and tricks from AL-KO professionals. Draw on the expertise of the global market leader for chassis.
- Layout and function of suspension components (towbar, overrun device, axle, wheel brake, supports etc.)
- Accessories/retrofitting (ATC + 2LINK, MAMMUT, RANGER, self-adjusting brake AAA, UP4)
- Wear parts (original vs. replica parts)
- Spare parts management and service portal
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting (group exercises on training models)
- Axle repairs
- Installation, maintenance and care instructions
- Day 1: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. / Day 2: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. / Day 3: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Objectives: technical competence, more efficient working, effective arguments, satisfied customers
Target group: workshop managers, fitters, service personnel
Cost contribution: invoice for €750 + VAT which is sent by post after the course is finished

At the end of the seminar, you will sit a test for AL-KO chassis technicians. You will receive a personalised certificate once you have passed the test.

AL-KO HY4 retailer training
Workshop Pro for the hydraulic lifting support system
Become the competent contact for all issues or questions relating to HY4 hydraulic steady legs. Familiarise yourself even more with the vehicle layout and gain tips and tricks from AL-KO professionals for installing steady legs.

The training consists of two parts
Part 1 - HY4 sales training for sales representatives/customer service (half day)
Part 2 - Assembly training for employees in the workshop:
- Introduction and product presentation of HY4 + FIAT Original
- Vehicle analysis
- Installation of mechanical components incl. practical training
- Installation of electrical components, commissioning of HY4 and function
- HY4 complaints / spare parts / order kits
- Maintenance, service and emergency operation
Day 1: half day on sales
Day 2+3:Assembly section each 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Objectives:qualification for HY4 installation, technical competence, more efficient working, effective arguments, satisfied customers

Wheel brake expert workshop
for caravan and utility trailer
Become an absolute expert regarding trailer drum brakes and discover how they work, are designed, maintained, adjusted and solve problems linked to the AL-KO brake system. Which temperatures are prevalent in a drum brake? What causes increased wear and why do brakes squeak? How do you correctly adjust a brake and what are the effects of this? Discover all the key maintenance points to be observed.
