Green Tiny Houses GmbH & Co. KG from Elmshorn takes a unique approach: the company specialises in setting up entire mini villages made up of tiny houses. At various locations across Germany – from the coast to the mountains – so-called Green Tiny Villages can be found, for example in the Harz region and on the North Sea coast.
In the East Frisian coastal town of Harlesiel, there are a total of 19 Green Tiny Houses on a campsite. They are ideally suited for families, couples, friends, individualists and people working remotely. The mini village offers an innovative way of living for a short getaway, holidays, or working in the heart of nature.
Visitors can work from their Tiny Office in specially equipped workspaces. These workspaces stand out for their professional equipment. Workers benefit from height-adjustable desks and, above all, enjoy the outstanding view through the panoramic window into the surrounding nature. After all, the Wadden Sea is right on the doorstep of the Tiny House mini village.

Focus on sustainable, climate-friendly materials
The "Green" in the name of Green Tiny Houses GmbH & Co. KG also reflects the company philosophy. The focus when choosing materials and building the tiny houses is therefore on their sustainability.
The various models of the mini holiday homes are designed to be climate-friendly from the ground up: Superwood from Scandinavian forests or specially treated timber is used for the facades of the Green Tiny Houses. Both timber types are especially robust and long-lasting. For insulation, Baltic Sea seagrass and wood fibre are used.
Another highlight is a NASA-inspired space shower. The key feature: while you shower, the water is directly recycled – heated, filtered, and purified – saving up to 90 percent of the water and as much as 80 percent of the energy usually required. Also built into the Green Tiny Houses: an incineration toilet, which operates completely without water.
The complex on the North Sea coast also includes a sustainable mini sauna house. Depending on the site, one to five percent of the rental income is donated directly to local conservation projects. A unique feature of Green Tiny Houses: not only are individual mini houses built – entire mini villages are set up as well. To do this, the company, just as with terraced houses, uses pre-defined designs. These determine the appearance of the location and ensure a consistent look. For example, the nearly 20 tiny houses in Harlesiel are built in only two different designs.

This means identical chassis, dimensions, versions, etc. The chassis from AL-KO VT Vehicle Technology are particularly suitable for series models as they are bolted rather than welded. Bolting the individual components results in almost complete dimensional accuracy that can be maintained throughout. This ensures that chassis are not susceptible to warping or inaccuracies caused by welding. The chassis are easy to set up and provide a stable, durable foundation for serially manufactured mini houses.

“We were enthusiastic about the concept of tiny house villages from the very beginning – as the AL-KO VT Vehicle Technology chassis were specifically developed for series production. They, for example, feature a patented connection. The form-fitting shear stud bolts ensure maximum accuracy of fit on the chassis.
