Suspension systems for greater driving comfort
Full air suspension systems AIR PREMIUM X2 and AIR PREMIUM X4 are available for selected commercial vehicles with an AL-KO VT chassis. Both systems allow the vehicle height to be adjusted depending on the configuration, but differ in terms of the axles suspended and their functions.
- AIR PREMIUM X2 is designed as a two-circuit full air suspension for the rear axle or rear axles. The vehicle height can be raised or lowered at the rear axle and thus adapted to different driving situations.
- AIR PREMIUM X4 operates as a four-circuit full air suspension system on both front and rear axles. In addition to adjusting the vehicle’s height, the system also enables diagonal level compensation, providing further options for levelling the vehicle.
Raising the vehicle level in a targeted manner can provide additional ground clearance depending on the situation, for example at driveways or ramps. The air suspension also enhances driving comfort by absorbing road surface irregularities and impacts.
Which variant is available and can be retrofitted to a vehicle depends, among other factors, on the base vehicle, chassis, number of axles, axle loads, year of manufacture, and the specific vehicle configuration, and therefore must be checked for each individual vehicle.
Practical accessories for panel vans: spare wheel carrier
A flat tyre on a commercially used commercial vehicle may result in unexpected downtime. With the AL-KO VT spare wheel carrier, a spare wheel can be neatly stowed at the rear of the chassis and remains easily accessible when needed. The spare wheel carrier is designed for Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper and Peugeot Boxer as well as for 15- and 16-inch wheels. Whether retrofitting is possible for a specific vehicle must be checked based on the individual vehicle specification or chassis number.

Whether it’s a sales vehicle or a horse transport vehicle: commercial vehicles must be stably and securely parked for a wide range of applications.
The mechanical ClickFix steady legs stabilise suitable commercial vehicles during loading or unloading, or when parked for extended periods. Requirements include a suitable frame height, sufficient free space, and a load-bearing surface. Suitable underlays may be required on softer ground.
