    T chassis

    Flexible for different trailer concepts

    T chassis are available unbraked with 750 kg as well as braked and in some cases height-adjustable. Variants are available up to a gross weight of 3,500 kg. A version with a frame and 2,000 kg, for example, is intended for closed bodies such as sales trailers.

    V chassis

    Low loaders and flatbed trailers for different bodies

    V chassis cover a wide range. Low loaders range from 750 kg for single-axle configurations up to 3,500 kg for tandem axle chassis. Depending on the version, they are suitable for example for motorcycle transport, horse trailers, car transporters or closed bodies. Flatbed trailers for transport trailers are also available up to 3,500 kg.

    The bolted AL-KO VT system lightweight frame reduces weight in non-critical frame areas. Individual frame components can be replaced in the event of servicing.

    Steerable chassis

    For passenger and in-plant goods transport

    Steerable chassis with frame are listed for passenger transport with gross weights of 3,500, 5,400 and 7,200 kg. The trailer runs almost precisely in the track of the towing vehicle. For in-plant transport, AL-KO VT also offers steerable chassis without a frame with 1,200 or up to 6,000 kg.

    The specific construction depends on the version. Chassis frame, axles, towing connection and brake components form the technical basis. Body type, floor construction and frame must be matched to each other.

    The catalogue states the permissible gross weights and unladen weights of the respective chassis, but no general payload. This depends on the specific chassis, body and overall construction of the trailer.

    Decisive factors include body type, desired gross weight, floor dimensions, axle configuration and tyres. AL-KO VT recommends closely coordinating the chassis frame version with the vehicle manufacturer.
