The AL-KO VT Customer Centre Elsdorf is a branch of E&P Hydraulics, the specialist for levelling systems within the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group. While your recreational vehicle is on the lift, you can relax in the modern lounge during opening hours or use it for work with your laptop. The building is located in the industrial area of Elsdorf, which has more businesses as well as a bakery. You will also find shops for everyday needs in the town.

Elsdorf in the Rhein-Erft district is known for its open-cast mine – and so the surrounding landscape is shaped by this feature, including the Terranova viewpoint, from where you can take in this fascinating vastness, along with hiking and cycling trails. The Customer Centre Elsdorf is also just under 30 kilometres west of Cologne, making a city trip to the Rhine metropolis easily possible from here.

The Terranova viewpoint (Nordrandweg) allows you to see the entire scale and extent of the region's open-cast mine. The viewpoint is just under three kilometres from the Customer Centre and, from Wednesday to Sunday, also features an adjacent restaurant.

The area around and on the Sophienhöhe, a recultivated spoil heap, is ideal for hiking. It can be reached from Elsdorf by bike or car in just a few minutes. In summer 2024, Koniks – a robust breed of pony from Central and Eastern Europe – were introduced here.

If you would like to cycle along the open-cast mine, the former conveyor belt route between the former Bergheim open-cast mine and the largest open-cast mine in Europe, Hambach, invites you to go cycling, inline skating and for walks. The five-metre wide, asphalted Speedway :terra nova forms part of the circular route with its 14 kilometres – perfectly straight and free of junctions.

Directly in front of the premises, there is a marked pitch for motorhomes. Thanks to the available customer parking spaces, it is also possible for several motorhomes to stay overnight. Electricity is available.

For a longer stay, we recommend the Liblarer See Campsite. It is just under 30 kilometres from the Customer Centre, located directly on the lake with a bathing beach, offers all facilities and is a wonderful starting point for hikes and cycle tours in the area.

Elsdorf Motorhome Pitch

There are two free, spacious pitches at the sports ground in Elsdorf, without supply and disposal facilities. The shopping street of Elsdorf is a five-minute walk away, and it takes three minutes to reach the supermarket and bakery. Pets are allowed.
