He combines his many years of professional experience with the dream of providing people with a bespoke retreat in the form of a tiny house – a place to forget the stresses of everyday (working) life. The Tiny House Manufaktur designs and builds mini houses to customer requirements and offers three construction stages:
- a basic frame,
- a shell, and
- a turnkey version.

Local timber, natural waxes and sheep’s wool
The Tiny House Manufaktur constructs its mini houses exclusively using local timber from sustainable forestry. It also makes use of natural wood waxes and oils instead of varnishes. For insulation and to provide a pleasant indoor climate, 80 millimetre-thick sheep’s wool – stabilised using a biological process – is used. Customers can also choose, according to their individual preferences, from other natural insulation materials such as hemp, flax, or wood wool. Contracted tasks that the company cannot carry out in-house are assigned to local craft businesses.

From simple and rustic to luxurious and unique
Michael Heller and his team do their utmost to implement customers’ wishes individually and to measure – starting with joint discussions and ideas for design and interior layout.

The wide range of options, high quality and durability enable the Tiny House Manufaktur to fulfil the requirements and wishes of its customers for their dream tiny house. The frames are also noted for their high flexural strength and rigidity. Heavy-duty support legs mounted directly onto the chassis allow for on-site alignment. Depending on axle load, axles and drawbars can be adjusted. Thanks to the precise dimensional accuracy of the frame, the tiny house can be built directly onto it. Body lengths range from 5.40 to 8.40 metres, allowing customers to configure the size of their tiny house flexibly. The different body types produce 20 standard variants from which customers can choose.
