König EXTEND: An alternative approach to the slide-out
A slide-out on a motorhome allows the living area to be extended electrically, significantly increasing interior space when stationary. Unlike traditional versions, the König EXTEND pushes the outer shell outwards while the inner shell remains in place. This means that when stationary, the volume of the König EXTEND doubles, and the extended section remains flexible. As a result, the king trailer's base area can be fully built and furnished even when retracted. When extended, additional usable space becomes available.
More living space
A caravan often means a lack of space. This is where the König EXTEND comes in, which is used like a classic box trailer when on the move but doubles its internal volume when stationary, offering more room for living. When extended, a barrier-free interior area is created that can be set up with just a few simple steps, without the need for power or other tools. A practical additional feature: the drop-down floor (which serves as the external wall when retracted) can optionally be used as a terrace or display area.
Ready for every situation
The flexibility of use and the possibility of adapting the König EXTEND to individual requirements make the trailer ready for any situation. For commercial use, for example as a mobile command centre for the police, an emergency response trailer for the Red Cross, a mobile training room for eye laser procedures or as a mobile dental practice. The König EXTEND can also be used as a permanent campsite caravan or as overnight accommodation for assembly workers.

Pure comfort: When used as a caravan, the König EXTEND can be set up and taken down quickly and easily. The König EXTEND is also available in different weight options, so that even heavy items like a Smart car or a jet ski can be taken along. The permissible gross weight for the standard version is 3,000kg. In addition, a twin-axle design ensures greater jockey wheel load. The weight is easier to distribute, especially with a variable interior, and the balance while driving can be improved. In addition, all components are designed for maximum durability as well as winter resilience. This makes the trailer suitable for year-round use without compromising on quality. With König Trailer’s latest XTRAIL project, the benchmark for off-road-capable trailer is raised once again. Based on an AL-KO VT axle, the single-axle trailer can achieve a total weight of up to 2,100kg.
