Since it was founded in 1992, Aguti has been designing seat systems tailored specifically to customer needs, with a focus on flexibility, safety and ergonomics. In recent years, Aguti has established itself as a leading supplier of bespoke seating solutions for the recreational vehicle and special vehicle market. The company is dedicated to providing customers with maximum comfort, flexibility and safety on their journeys, by producing specialised seat systems and mounts that take ergonomic aspects into account.

When it comes to safety, all benches from Aguti are equipped with the patented ASBC system (Aguti Safety Bend Control), which ensures controlled deformation in the event of a crash. They feature two integrated three-point seat belts as well as two adjustable headrest mounts, which can be easily removed if required.

Isofix is also available to safeguard the youngest passengers on board. The rigid connection between bodywork and child seat guarantees children are well-protected throughout the journey. Product design has always been a particular focus as well. Together with its customers, Aguti develops seating solutions tailored to individual needs. Thanks to its tried-and-tested modular system, innovative ideas can easily be given a modern design.

General trends within the vehicle industry, such as flexible use and low energy consumption, are also reflected in seating systems. To meet this demand, Aguti places greater emphasis on multifunctional, easy-to-operate solutions and offers its customers a range of seats for flexible interiors, as well as features such as 'swivel seat' or 'bench/bed conversion'.

The S2 sleeping bench, most recently introduced to the market, provides even greater flexibility with its various adjustment options. It can be moved lengthways in an instant and adjusted to suit the space requirements of passengers and luggage. The backrest can also be continuously reclined up to 90 degrees and is available either with two individual backrests or, optionally, with a single double backrest.

On request, Aguti can customise the backrest to integrate it precisely into the planned interior layout. The intelligent folding kinematics of the backrest and seat surfaces ensure the seating comfort that Aguti is known for.

The sleeping bench additionally offers a simple fold-down function, with which the bench can be transformed quickly and easily into a comfortable sleeping area using a suitable bed extension or an existing Flexboard. The belt buckles are situated beneath the seat surface so that they do not get in the way.

With a total weight of just 60 kg, the bench is also lightweight, helping to reduce overall fuel consumption. If not needed, the S2 can be removed from the vehicle with special rail adapters.
