Safim strengthens the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group
Whether in agriculture, construction, or materials handling: almost whenever work takes place off-road and away from paved surfaces, heavy plant and vehicles are used. To ensure safe, precise, and energy-efficient operation, the Italian company SAFIM supplies components for their hydraulic circuits – mainly for critical braking applications. For over 40 years, the company, headquartered in Modena, has been supplying major manufacturers worldwide such as John Deere, Caterpillar and Liebherr.
Since the end of 2019, the company with production facilities in Italy and India has belonged to the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group. “SAFIM’s position as a leading manufacturer of highly technical products for a wide range of end markets is a great fit for the DexKo and AL-KO strategy,” explains Harald Hiller, President & CEO of the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group.
