What is De Haan?
Decades of experience with trailer and commercial vehicle components
De Haan was founded in 1924 in the Netherlands. The company began as a manufacturer of wooden wheelbarrows and gradually evolved over the decades. As the transport industry changed, the focus shifted first to commercial vehicle bodies and later to the development and manufacture of mudguards for lorries, trailers and commercial vehicles.
In the following decades, De Haan specialised in high-quality components for trailers and commercial vehicles. The product range was continuously expanded and now includes mudguards, toolboxes and further accessories made from steel, aluminium and plastic. Modern manufacturing technologies and decades of experience form the foundation for durable products that are used by vehicle manufacturers, dealers and end customers throughout Europe.
Since 2022, De Haan has been part of the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group. Together, expertise in trailer technology is being further expanded. Customers benefit from an international sales and service network as well as a comprehensive product portfolio for a wide range of vehicle applications.
