What is De Haan?
Decades of experience in trailer and commercial vehicle components
De Haan was founded in 1924 in the Netherlands. The company began as a manufacturer of wooden wheelbarrows and continuously developed over the decades. With changes in the transport sector, the focus shifted initially to commercial vehicle bodies and later to the development and production of mudguards for lorries, trailers and semi-trailers.
In the following decades, De Haan specialised in high-quality components for trailers and commercial vehicles. The range was continuously expanded and today includes mudguards, toolboxes and other accessories made from steel, aluminium and plastic. Modern manufacturing technologies and decades of experience form the basis for durable products, which are used by vehicle manufacturers, dealers and end customers throughout Europe.
Since 2022, De Haan has been part of the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group. Together, expertise in trailer technology is being further expanded. Customers benefit from an international sales and service network as well as a comprehensive product portfolio for a wide range of vehicle applications.
