The WHEELY retrofit kit from AL-KO VT expands the trailer with two spaces for fat bikes in front of the retaining bracket. The payload is 80 kg. The weight of the retrofit kit is 15 kg.

The scope of delivery includes two fat bike rails with tyre fastenings, two retaining arms and an outrigger set for mounting in front of the retaining bracket. The rails are positioned at a fixed distance of 20 cm. The retaining arms secure the fat bikes to the handlebar or seat post.

The existing lashing points on the trailer allow for additional securing of the bicycles.

Transporting two fat bikes in front of the retaining bracket

With the extension set, the fat bike rails are mounted in front of the retaining bracket. The tyre fastenings hold the wheels on the rails. The existing lashing points on the trailer can be used to further secure the fat bikes.
