Hydraulic support system LevelC
Description
Hydraulic support system LevelC
The ground at a campsite or parking area is often uneven, which can make manually levelling your caravan time-consuming. The fully automatic, hydraulic LevelC support system levels your caravan comfortably within a few minutes at the touch of a button.
Overview of LevelC benefits
- Fully automatic levelling in just a few minutes
- Stable and secure support
- Single- and twin-axle caravans with a total weight of up to 3.5 tonnes
- Maintenance-free
- Fully hydraulic 6-support system
- Low additional weight
- Includes AL-KO Big Foot support pads for perfect stability
How the LevelC system works
The fully automatic LevelC system levels the caravan horizontally along the longitudinal and transverse axes using two hydraulic cylinders mounted on the axle and four hydraulic twin supports. This ensures the vehicle is in a stable and horizontal position within a few minutes. The six hydraulic supports are connected to the vehicle’s frame and axle via mounting plates. The intelligent algorithm prevents harmful torsional forces from occurring in the vehicle’s chassis.
The operation is simple and intuitive. The levelling process can be started at the touch of a button via a fixed control panel, remote control or a mobile touchscreen. In special cases, individual positions can be reached in manual mode.
Thanks to the low additional weight of approx. 20 kg, the LevelC system only slightly limits the vehicle’s possible payload.
Extra benefits with theft protection
With LevelC for caravans, the caravan can not only be levelled fully automatically in the shortest possible time, but it also cannot be moved any more. This makes it secure against theft in unattended locations.
LevelC Easy to retrofit
E&P LevelC for caravans can be retrofitted to almost all common single- and twin-axle chassis. The system consists of two hydraulic axle supports, four hydraulic twin supports, the central hydraulic unit, hydraulic lines, the electronic control unit and the control panel.
All components are mounted on the caravan’s axle and chassis with suitable adapters without welding. Only one battery is required to operate the 12 V hydraulic pump, which may already be present. Depending on the chassis, we or one of our service partners will complete the installation within one working day.
The LevelC compact system
Caravan owners often also want semi-automatic systems where the familiar hand crank supports are still available. The LevelC compact system was developed in response to this customer request. The LevelC compact system levels the caravan horizontally in the transverse direction using two axle cylinders. The caravan can then be adjusted in the longitudinal direction using the jockey wheel and stabilised using the manual supports.
