What is CBE?

CBE was founded in 1976 by Bruno Conci and has grown into one of Europe's leading providers of electrical and electronic systems for recreational vehicles. From the very beginning, the focus was on developing innovative on-board electronics for motorhomes and caravans. In its founding year, the company launched the first LED control panel for motorhomes. This was followed by numerous innovations such as LCD control panels, touchscreen operating units and its own testing and simulation laboratories for the development of complete vehicle systems.
Today, CBE develops and manufactures complete electrical systems precisely tailored to the requirements of recreational vehicle manufacturers. These include control panels, electrical distribution, charging devices, wiring harnesses, as well as a wide range of switches, sockets, inverters and solar solutions for the aftermarket. Thanks to decades of experience and close cooperation with vehicle manufacturers, CBE is synonymous with reliable electronic solutions and high quality standards.
Is CBE part of AL-KO VT?
Electronics expertise in a unified brand world
Yes. CBE has been part of the AL-KO VT Group since 2018.
The acquisition by AL-KO VT strategically enhanced the competence in electrical and electronic systems. In 2021, CBE and Nordelettronica merged to form AL-KO VT Electronics S.r.l. and have since pooled their development and manufacturing expertise at a shared site in Italy.
As part of brand consolidation, previous CBE products will in future be marketed under the AL-KO VT brand. The proven technology, technical know-how, as well as consulting, service and spare parts supply will, of course, remain available.
