Your vehicle is in expert hands in the newly equipped workshop, which features multiple hydraulic ramps; the levelling systems themselves are also manufactured at the Ramsau plant.

Leisure activities around Ramsau im Zillertal

Ramsau is situated in the heart of the Zillertal holiday region, so there are numerous well-known attractions within easy reach, such as the Hintertux Glacier, the Spannagel Cave, Nature’s Ice Palace, the Zillertal Arena ski area, and the Schlegeis Reservoir. 

The Schlegeis Reservoir, set in an unparalleled high-mountain landscape, offers not only an opportunity to experience nature but also an adrenaline rush at the dam wall on the “Flying Fox” zipline and the “Giant Swing.”  

The Hintertux Glacier also offers breathtaking natural scenery, which can, for example, be enjoyed from the panoramic terrace at an altitude of 3,250 metres. The main village of Mayrhofen offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, such as summer hiking on Mountopolis by Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, and the Visorium Mayrhofen, which features escape rooms, laser tag, adventure golf and virtual reality rooms.
The ErlebnisSennerei Zillertal showcases dairy and all things made from Alpine milk. And at the Aufenfeld Adventure Park in Aschau, you can enjoy swimming, a climbing and bouldering hall, and a trampoline park. Year-round tobogganing fun can be had on the Arena Coaster in Zell am Ziller.

Parking and camping near the customer centre

Here are a few ideas for a short trip or even a longer stay just around the corner from the AL-KO customer centre in Ramsau im Zillertal:

There are a number of caravan and motorhome pitches securely located within AL-KO’s grounds. An electricity supply is available free of charge. If you arrive in the evening or at night, you will be given an access code to open the barriers.  

If you’d like to combine your visit to the customer centre with a short break or a longer trip, you can choose from the following campsites in the immediate vicinity: 

  • Just under ten kilometres away, you’ll find the Erlebnis-Resort Aufenfeld – a 5-star resort offering camping, apartments, a spa and fine dining.

  • The Mayrhofen campsite is within walking distance: centrally located, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre, this spacious site offers excellent facilities ranging from comfort to luxury. 

  • Located five kilometres from the AL-KO customer centre, Campingdorf Hofer offers a family-friendly atmosphere with 90 pitches, exclusive apartments and chalets. The site is just a short walk from the centre of Zell am Ziller.
