    The AL-KO VT hexagonal rubber suspension combines independent wheel suspension with maintenance-free springs. Each wheel is suspended individually so road surface irregularities only affect that side of the trailer.

    Long suspension travel and high self-damping support smooth driving characteristics and protect the vehicle body and cargo. Unbraked versions are available with 750, 1,000, 1,300, 1,500 and 1,800 kg axle load.

    Braked axles with hexagonal rubber suspension

    For higher axle loads and demanding applications

    Braked trailer axles combine the hexagonal rubber suspension with wheel brakes matched to each weight class. This provides numerous solutions for single-axle and multi-axle concepts.

    Depending on the version, maintenance-free compact bearings and brake drums with cooling fins are included. For many variants, AAA, AL-KO Automatic Adjustment for automatic brake shoe adjustment is also available. Braked single axles are offered in various weight classes up to 4,000 kg axle load.

    Trailer axles with leaf spring suspension

    Modular for different vehicle designs

    Leaf spring axles are available braked or unbraked. Their modular design offers various integration options for the respective vehicle concept.

    Unbraked versions are available with 750, 1,500 and 1,800 kg axle load. Braked versions include variants with 1,500 and 1,800 kg axle load.

    Half axles

    Half axles offer additional design flexibility when a continuous axle does not fit the vehicle concept. Braked and unbraked versions are available for various axle loads.

    Axles with drive

    Braked axles with drive are suitable for applications where the wheel movement should also provide additional mechanical power. Typical examples include salt spreader trailers or trailers with a refrigeration unit.

    This solution operates independently from the towing vehicle. A PTO connection on the towing vehicle is not required.

    Lowering axles

    Lowering axles make loading and unloading easier by allowing the vehicle body to be hydraulically lowered. Depending on the version, lowering travel of up to 140, 190 or 210 mm is possible.

    This makes the systems suitable for car transporters, sales trailers and commercial trailers.
