The company will be presenting its products and services from 26 August to 4 Septem-ber 2022 at its stand in Hall 14 A03/01-02 and in the outdoor area FG 13-03 for the product brands AL-KO, E&P and SAWIKO. The product brands CBE/Nordelettronica can be found right next door in Hall 14/A06 under the new umbrella of AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics.

“In recent years, AL-KO Vehicle Technology has continuously presented our customers with tailor-made products and services with high added value and proven quality. We will continue on this path at the Caravan Salon 2022”, President and CEO Harald Hiller said.

“Every year, the Caravan Salon is a fantastic opportunity for the leisure vehicle industry to position itself as an innovative and vibrant sector. Customer centre support: a successful strategy

Guido Kovermann, Senior Vice President After Sales and Customer Centre at AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group, adds: “Our customers invest in a high-quality vehicle con-sisting of high-quality components – and we always show them even more optimisation possibilities. To help them continually improve the efficiency and quality of their driving experience, we are on hand to offer advice and support to our visitors. The customer centre in Ramsau, Austria, planned for 2023, is an excellent addition to our broad sup-port network”. The steadily growing European customer centre concept has been prov-ing its worth for ten years now. Owners of leisure vehicles, light commercial vehicles and trailers will find a wide range of services and products from the group’s brands AL-KO, E&P and SAWIKO. Vehicles with an AL-KO chassis and AL-KO axle will benefit in particular from the original equipment manufacturer quality.

TRIGO-VAN: Easy manoeuvring and comfortable loading

SAWIKO introduces the new TRIGO-VAN, a comfortable rear carrier system for panel vans. Other manufacturers often block the hinged doors and obstruct access into the vehicle. This is not the case with the brand-new TRIGO-VAN from SAWIKO. It ensures free access to the rear doors at all times. Thanks to its user-friendly design, the rear carrier can be manoeuvred effortlessly and safely, even when loaded with three bicycles. In addition, SAWIKO will present a wide range of trailers such as the Wheely, carrier systems for panel vans and motorhomes as well as towbars and frame extensions. E&P and AL-KO now offer their proven LevelM and HY4 levelling support systems for MAN TGE and VW Crafter II chassis cabs. Manoeuvring, support and anti-snaking systems for caravans round off the exhibition range.

The Internet of Things makes its way into leisure vehicles

Leisure vehicles consist of more than just mechanics, living space and technical equipment. Electronics in particular are evolving from a concealed supply management system to a control and communication platform that drastically increases the convenience and user-friendliness on board a leisure vehicle. AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics (VTE), recently formed from the merger of Italy's CBE and Nordelettronica, introduces a new gateway.

This allows different types of devices to communicate with each other and to be controlled both locally and remotely. It collects the working information of the devices installed in motorhomes and caravans and the various connected systems (such as CBE and Nordelettronica control panels, the HVAC solutions and the refrigerator) and forwards this to a smartphone app from which users can issue control commands.
