Retrofit kit for 1 bicycle behind the platform

The WHEELY trailer from AL-KO VT can be expanded with this retrofit kit to add a bicycle space behind the platform. The kit is designed for transporting one bicycle or e-bike. Its payload is approximately 40 kg.

The outrigger set is bolted to the chassis using hot-dip galvanized mounting elements. The necessary holes are already present in the frame of the WHEELY trailer. The outriggers extend the trailer by 30 cm.

The scope of delivery includes a bicycle rail with tire attachment, a holding arm for a bicycle at the rear, and a frame adapter for the extendable light carrier. If no bicycle rails or other transport options are mounted on the outriggers, they can be manually unlocked and retracted using a locking bolt.

The retrofit kit creates space for a bicycle behind the platform. When the extensions are not in use, they can be manually unlocked and pushed in.

Please note: With the bicycle rails mounted, the trailer can no longer be stored upright without tools. The bicycle rails must be removed first. Each bicycle rail is secured with two M8 bolts that need to be loosened.
