SAWIKO specialises in towbars and carrier systems for motorhomes and panel vans. Since 1995, the company has been developing solutions for bicycles, scooters, motorbikes and additional loads. As part of AL-KO, products, advice and service are now brought together under the AL-KO brand.

What is SAWIKO?
From motorhome accessory specialist to aftermarket expert
SAWIKO was founded in 1995, based on the practical experience of passionate campers. The aim was to make motorhomes more flexible and allow additional means of transport to be carried safely. In 1999, the growing company moved to its site in Neuenkirchen-Vörden. Since 2004, in-house production using laser and cutting systems has supported fast, quality-focused manufacturing.
At the end of 2011, the AL-KO VT Group took over the company. SAWIKO brought extensive expertise in the European retrofit market to the group. Today, the site brings together product development, manufacturing, installation and direct customer contact.
Feedback from end customers, dealers and vehicle manufacturers feeds directly into development and service. Modern production and testing technology supports high standards of quality and safety. This results in solutions in which the product, vehicle integration and professional installation are perfectly coordinated with one another.
