AL-KO Vehicle Technology at the Caravan Salon 2025: focus on comfort, safety and connectivity

AL-KO Vehicle Technology will be presenting exciting products at the Caravan Salon 2025 from August 29th to September 7th in Hall 14 A 03/ 01-03 as well as in the open-air area 13-3.

At the Caravan Salon 2025, the company will present the LevelM Pro 4x4 for the first time, together with its subsidiary E&P Hydraulics – a version of the proven hydraulic levelling system specifically developed for off-road use on the Mercedes-Benz VS30 4x4 chassis. Equipped with extra-long cylinders that provide up to 300 mm of ground clearance, the system ensures a comfortable, stable, and secure stand even on rough terrain.

LevelM Pro 4x4 is therefore aimed at a target group that travels off-road but does not want to compromise on high standards of comfort and ease of use. As usual, the system is intuitively controlled at the push of a button – ensuring reliable levelling on any terrain. The system is currently available exclusively for Yucon campervans based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and, in addition to being presented at the AL-KO owned stand, will also be on display in a Yucon campervan at vehicle manufacturer Frankia in Hall 17.

In addition to LevelM Pro 4x4, this year's focus is on the comprehensive portfolio of hydraulic levelling support systems. With LevelM Pro, LevelVan, LevelC and the proven HY4 system, the company presents solutions for almost all vehicle types – from panel vans to integrated motorhomes.

The product range is complemented by the COMFORT DRIVE chassis control for enhanced driving stability, as well as the PROSAFE safety device for reliable theft protection when stationary. In this way, AL-KO underlines its commitment to providing comfortable and safe travel through well-engineered vehicle technology from a single source.

At SAWIKO, the specialist for carrier systems and tow bars, motorhome owners will find the right solution for every requirement when it comes to the safe and convenient transport of bicycles, e-bikes or scooters. The focus is on ergonomics: on the VELO and LIGERO models, the light holders now fold up automatically together with the carrier – as is already standard on the TRIGO-VAN for panel vans. In addition, the VELO, VARIO and LIGERO have been visually and functionally redesigned: black-coated elements ensure a sleek, contemporary design with high standards of aesthetics and practicality. VARIO LED and LIGERO LED are two new product variants featuring stylish LED lighting for better visibility and increased safety in road traffic.

The group will also present itself at its stand together with its subsidiaries from the electronics sector: CBE, Nordelettronica and Toptron – collectively known as AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics.

At AL-KO VTE, caravan and motorhome owners will find innovative photovoltaic solutions that combine maximum efficiency with modern design and flexible integration. The focus is on the new all-black modules such as the MFBC190, which achieves the highest efficiency currently available on the market thanks to back-contact technology. The compact module with 190 W output features a clean design without visible grid structures, blending seamlessly into modern vehicle aesthetics. Additionally, it can be integrated into the ONDA Connectivity App via Bluetooth for easy monitoring of all performance data via smartphone or on-board display.

With the new Flexible Series, AL-KO VTE also offers two particularly adaptable solar modules that fit perfectly to the contours of vehicle bodies thanks to their flexible design. The MFFL150 and MFFL190 models do not require any drilling and are bonded directly – ideal for aerodynamic integration on curved surfaces. All new photovoltaic modules are based on efficient PERC technology, feature durable materials and anti-reflective coating, and meet the highest European standards. AL-KO VTE supplies the matching installation technology including controllers, cables and brackets as a coordinated complete package.

One highlight at the stand is the ONDA SMART SYSTEM, which allows the onboard power supply in motorhomes to be controlled via a smartphone app. The system also enables monitoring of the battery, solar panels and energy consumption. Another focus is ONDA Connectivity, which makes it possible to control motorhome functions such as lighting, heating, and battery from anywhere in the world via app.

The new ONDA Line Touch Panels provide all functions of ONDA Connectivity in a convenient and clear manner. The panels present the extensive information and control options in a structured way, using intuitive graphic elements that make the operation even more user-friendly.
