AL-KO Vehicle Technology opens Benelux Customer Centre

The technology group AL-KO Vehicle Technology is opening a customer centre in Nieuw-Vennep in the Netherlands at the beginning of June 2020. The company is thus expanding its European network of customer centres to a total of six sites.

The new customer centre is located on a 1,600 square metre site 35 kilometres south of Amsterdam. In addition to the workshop and a showroom, it also includes three camp sites with electricity outside.

"With the new Customer Centre Benelux in Nieuw-Vennep, we are not only expanding our range of services in the Netherlands, but are also better accessible to our customers in the neighbouring countries of Belgium and Luxembourg. The customer centre also excellently complements our broad and high-quality dealer network" says Guido Kovermann, Senior Vice President After Sales and Customer Centres at the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group. "We are also delighted that we were able to recruit several highly qualified employees for the new site.

Comprehensive range of services and products
The new customer centre offers owners of leisure vehicles, light commercial vehicles and trailers a wide range of services and products from the group’s brands AL-KO and SAWIKO. In addition to classic body maintenance and repair work, the installation of spring and levelling support systems as well as comfort and driver assistance systems are also part of the service portfolio. Vehicles with an AL-KO chassis and axle naturally benefit from all special work being carried out in original equipment manufacturer quality. It is also possible to assemble electronics such as anti-snaking systems for caravans. Furthermore, bicycle carriers, towbars or motorbike loading ramps for motorhomes can be installed.

In order to carry out the work quickly and reliably, the workshop has two hydraulic ramps for vehicles and two for trailers. A brake test stand for trailers as well as state-of-the-art machines round off the workshop area. The new AL-KO customer centre in the Netherlands offers customers a comprehensive range of services, including a lounge and free WiFi. Besides the current products, the showroom also provides a direct view into the workshop and the conversions taking place there. An exhibition with products in action such as manoeuvring or spring systems completes the offering.
