AL-KO opens new Customer and Training Centre in the UK
AL-KO Vehicle Technology UK opens a state-of-the-art customer and training centre in Southam/Warwickshire, in the south of England. The new facility is located in Sucham Park, just 400 metres from the company’s UK headquarters. This expands the company's European network of customer centres to a total of nine locations.
The apprentices at AL-KO Vehicle Technology in Kötz and Ettenbeuren have been trained as ‘Energy Scouts’ with the help of a program run by the Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in 2024. The additional qualification aims to raise the trainee’s awareness of energy efficiency and sustainability.
AL-KO Vehicle Technology presents the AL-KO CarryNex family: a sophisticated modular chassis system for cargo-bike trailers that enables payloads of up to 230 kilograms with a gross vehicle weight of up to 300 kg.
AL-KO Vehicle Technology will be presenting a wide range of technological innovations for the complete range of leisure vehicles and accessories at the Caravan Salon 2024 in Hall 14 A 03/ 01-03 as well as in the outdoor area 13-3.
Oliver Drinkwater has been responsible for all hydraulic levelling systems activities (HY2, HY4, LevelC, LevelM, LevelM Pro, LevelVan) in the group of companies worldwide since April 2024.
AL-KO Vehicle Technology and its subsidiary E&P Hydraulics present LevelVan: a hydraulic levelling system for vans that allows significantly more payload thanks to its low weight.
Dr Klaus Wilhelm will (again) lead the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group’s global research and development as well as product management activities from July 1, 2024.
