The precise joystick continuously controls the direction and speed of travel. This keeps the caravan under control in narrow driveways, in front of the garage or on the campsite.

From 25 kg: more capacity for your payload

A manoeuvring system increases comfort, but it also adds weight to the caravan. That is why the MAMMUT GALAXY uses a lightweight design. The single-axle variants with U-mount each weigh just 25 kg. This leaves more capacity for luggage, bicycles or camping equipment. Performance and ease of use remain fully intact.

More than 1.0 km/h: reach your destination faster

At speeds of more than 1.0 km/h, the MAMMUT GALAXY is one of the fastest manoeuvring systems in its class. This allows you to cover longer distances on the campsite or in front of the garage quickly.

Three speed levels give you the right level of control for every situation. When parking, you can manoeuvre slowly and precisely. On open ground, you can move the caravan faster.

Joystick remote control for precise handling

The MAMMUT GALAXY remote control focuses on simple and direct operation. The joystick continuously translates your movements into the direction and speed of travel.

Separate buttons engage or disengage the drive rollers and control the speed. An LCD colour display and an illumination function support operation in daylight and darkness.

Maximum ground clearance and automatic engagement

The patented design provides maximum ground clearance and reduces the risk of contact with the ground. This protects the manoeuvring system on uneven surfaces, driveways and kerbs.

At the touch of a button, the drive rollers automatically engage with the tyres. The system creates the appropriate contact pressure for reliable power transmission.

Overcomes obstacles up to 4 cm and gradients up to 35%

The MAMMUT GALAXY overcomes obstacles up to 4 cm high and gradients of up to 35%. This also supports you on demanding driveways and pitches.

The actual driving performance depends on the caravan, its load, the surface and the operating conditions.

Flexible power supply with 18 V or 12 V

You can operate the MAMMUT GALAXY with modern 18 V power tool batteries or a conventional 12 V onboard battery. This allows you to adapt the power supply to the weight, vehicle and your travel habits. The 18 V batteries are part of the cross-brand Cordless Alliance System, or CAS for short. They can be changed easily and charged outside the caravan.

Flexible positioning of the control unit

The control unit does not have to be installed in a fixed position. An authorised specialist workshop can position it according to the available space in the caravan.

An integrated service interface supports diagnostics and software updates. This allows service technicians to check the system status and install updates.

Efficient power transmission with planetary gearing

Planetary gearing transfers the drive force efficiently in a compact design. It combines performance with low weight and contributes to the slim design of the manoeuvring system.

Which power supply is right for you?

18 V CAS power tool batteries

• The interchangeable battery solution keeps the system particularly lightweight. It is ideal for anyone who wants to charge batteries outside the caravan and use them flexibly.

PowerXtreme lithium-ion battery

• PowerXtreme provides a lightweight, permanently installed 12 V power supply. Three sizes cover caravans up to 1,500 kg, 1,800 kg or 3,500 kg.

Optima BlueTop battery

• The Optima BlueTop 75 Ah battery supplies variants up to 3,500 kg. This 12 V solution requires the appropriate charger and 12 V cable harness.

Installation and purchase

Select the manoeuvring system according to the number of axles, permitted total weight and chassis connection. The power supply is supplied as a separate, compatible package.
