    Disposal Considerations:

Retailers, manufacturers, and importers of batteries collect used batteries and deliver them to lead smelters for secondary processing.

Clarios has established a collection system.

More information is available at: www.clarios.com

Used lead-acid batteries (EWC 160601*) are subject to EU regulations (Battery Directive) and its transposition into national legislation regarding the composition and end-of-life management of batteries.

They are marked with the recycling/return symbol and a crossed-out waste container. Batteries with different chemical compositions must be separated from lead-acid batteries to avoid risks during collection, transport, and recycling.
