    Mirko Trefzer (48) will take up his position as Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at AL-KO Vehicle Technology on October 1, 2018. His main tasks are the support and intensification of customer relations on national and international level as well as the implementation of the sales objectives and the associated growth strategy of the company.

    Which driver of car and trailer doesn't know this? Small evasive manoeuvres, cross winds on bridges or wind pressure during overtaking can quickly cause a trailer to lurch. AL-KO Vehicle Technology offers an effective solution for this: the AL-KO Trailer Control (ATC) anti-skid system, which quickly and gently brakes the lightweight trailer and puts it back on track. The emergency system has been proven in caravans for over 10 years and has now been installed almost 200,000 times throughout Europe. The ATC is already standard equipment for many caravan manufacturers.

    The EU Parliament's Environment Committee is currently discussing a significant reduction in CO2 emissions from new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Manufacturers are to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of their new car fleets by 45 percent by the year 2030 (measured from the base year 2021). In addition, a sales target of 40 percent of emission-free and low-emission cars - i.e. electric cars and plug-in hybrids - is to be achieved by 2030. AL-KO Vehicle Technology already has an intelligent solution proposal for this current requirement.

    DexKo Global expands its New Zealand operations with the acquisition of CM Trailer Parts

    DexKo Global Inc., a global leader in highly engineered trailer running gear, chassis assemblies and related components, is pleased to announce that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire CM Trailer Parts to expand its New Zealand operations. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

    CM Trailer Parts is a privately owned New Zealand business and leading supplier of caravan and trailer axles, leaf springs, couplings and other trailer components, serving multiple market segments across New Zealand since 1988.

    First Scandinavian electric refrigerated vehicle for home deliveries is rolled out on eCab

    Swedish grocery home delivery service MatHem relies on the platform of ABT Sportsline and AL-KO Vehicle Technology

    The first electrically-operated refrigerated vehicle in the 3.5 tonne class in Scandinavia was put into operation by MatHem, Sweden's market leader in the home delivery service of foodstuffs. The platform of the new vehicle is the all-electric e-transporter eCab, developed jointly by AL-KO Vehicle Technology, specialist for chassis and chassis components, and the e-mobility expert ABT Sportsline. It is based on a Volkswagen T6 cab with a modified AL-KO lightweight chassis with fully integrated batteries.
