The Hybrid Power Chassis enables emission-free, all-electric driving in urban environments. The variable AL-KO lightweight chassis permits modular use of the battery packs. This means that the battery capacity can be adjusted to a range of up to 100 km in all-electric operation, depending on customer requirements.

Description

The Hybrid Power Chassis enables emission-free, all-electric driving in urban environments. The variable AL-KO lightweight chassis permits modular use of the battery packs. This means that the battery capacity can be adjusted to a range of up to 100 km in all-electric operation, depending on customer requirements.

Hybrid mode for higher ranges

The vehicle internal combustion engine can be used without restriction for longer ranges such as overland journeys. The saving in fuel for the same use of E-Drive and internal combustion engine is 30 %.

Plug-In Hybrid

The powerful on-board charger and the recuperation strategy ensure short charging times and sufficient power. Intermediate charging when loading or unloading the vehicle and during rest periods is possible at any time.

Charging capacity: 7 kW or optionally 22 kW (230 V/400 V)

Recuperation

Through recuperation, the system can supply vehicles, e.g. with a refrigerated box body, with energy and serve as a buffer when the vehicle comes to a standstill. This function can be parametrised individually to suit different customer requirements. This means that applications such as lifting platforms, interior lighting or air conditioning systems can also be operated.

Additional functions:

  • 4 x 4 starting aid (e.g. on slippery ground or on gradients)
  • Booster (better acceleration and fuel savings of up to approx. 30 %)
